Dr. Bill Lucas Update: 2 weeks after being discreditedJune 30, 2006 at 12:13 am | Posted in Journal of Anti-Science meetings | 1 Comment
Well, today is Thursday. That is the Thursday after last Thursday, which was the Thursday after the Thursday before that. So, it’s now been 2 weeks since Dr. Bill Lucas was exposed for the fraud that he is during a presentation via CCTV here at the Wichita State University campus, so I thought I’d check in on his progress on a remedy to the situation.
I went here to see if Dr. Bill Lucas’ resume has since been corrected. It hasn’t. His resume still contains the line: Professor of Physics at Catholic and American Universities in Washington, D.C.
It has been established that Dr. Lucas never was faculty at Catholic University. The university confirmed that.
Unfortunately my efforts to confirm Lucas’ position at American University led to a dead end. Through email, they told me that had a William Lucas there in 1984, however they have no other information, including his full name or which department he worked in. It should be noted that American University does not have a physics department, but their physics is part of their computer science department. It also should be noted that American University is “… a private university in Washington, D.C., emphasizing public service and a solid foundation in the liberal arts,” so natural science isn’t valued too much there.
I try to be as reasonable as I can, but 2 weeks is more than enough time to deal with this problem, so I’m going to start putting pressure on him. If anyone knows of Dr. Bill Lucas presenting anywhere, please let me know.
