Your last warning…
May 16, 2007 at 7:26 pm | Posted in Good Media | 6 CommentsFlock of Dodos makes its television premier tomorrow night on Showtime. Dr. Olson sent me this to help remind you.
It’s the perfect date movie, you can stay at home, and it’s free. There are simply no excuses to not watch it.

Mitch, what can I say. You’re soooo right, and it’s an obstacle that we both share.
Right now I’m searching for the most extravagant female that I can find who has Showtime at her house. The plan is that I go over there under the disguise of wanting to cuddle, and slyly trick her into watching the movie.
You can do likewise. Anyone and everyone should make up some sort of excuse to invade the house of someone who has Showtime on Thursday night and trick them into watching Flock of Dodos.
It doesn’t have to be a relationship scenario. Maybe you know someone who has a Nintendo Wii and Showtime. Maybe you have a Nintendo Wii, that’s a ticket to anyone’s living room. Maybe you can have dinner with whoever you plan to use, and just tell them you’ve missed them.
Make up an excuse, whatever excuse you need. Just watch this film and try to get as many people as you can to watch the film with you as well. You won’t regret it.

The film is a good example of atheist bigots using science as a front.
One smear after another, uncalled for insults, etc.
Who ya kiddin, worm?

Could you give an example of an uncalled for insult or smears? Olson constantly makes the case that Calvert, Martin, Morris, etc. are more charming people than scientists. Olson is not an atheist, he’s just a scientist. It’s unfortunate that you’re getting the two confused.

I don’t have Showtime. That’s my excuse; lame, but accurate. Other than that one small detail, I will hope to find it at the video store some day.

Oh, I’m sad I missed this. Of course, I don’t have cable anyway (T_T)
